Hi I have set up a page where users can add adverts, and they will end up registered as a subscriber.

However when they login they just see a WP dashboard with no adverts there.

How do I set up the manage adverts page so they see that when they login?

I have looked through the documentation, however cannot find this.

    Thanks

Yes I did see that and set up a page with it. However when the user logs in (they are set as a subscriber is that right?) all they get is a dashboard with nothing available and profile options. Where are the ads? How do I put that page so they see it when they login? Thanks heaps. Rob

Hi, usually users who post Ads will be registered as Subscribers, so in wp-admin panel they will have access to user profile only and they cannot add/edit/delete ads from there.

Like @pare81 wrote you need to create a page (from wp-admin / Pages panel) with [adverts_manage] shortcode, when not registered user will access it he will see a link to login page. Clicking it will redirect hi to login page, on successful login the user will be redirected back to page with [adverts_manage].

ok got it, thanks for this, I think I can make it work. Much appreciated.

Greg is right, automatically when a user logs in he will be taken to the subscriber dashboard where there without some code snippets he will only see the normal subscriber dashboard with no ads panel. Hence u need to get a plugin which will help you to redirect the user straight to the ad manage page when loging in.
