New users have predictions (and points)

    I saw a newly registered user have predictions and points for games from the day before. I tested myself and made a new account and there were also predictions from closed games, so with that account I have points and a place in the ranking.

    Any idea what causes this issue?

    Some days ago I did a backup to a version of some hours earlier of my website and lost some users because of that (didn’t knew a backup could do that).
    Could it be that the newly registered users get an ID of the users I’ve lost and the plugin saves predictions on the ID so that the new users get the predictions of the ‘lost’ users?

    Yes, that is the most plausible cause. The plugin saves everything that has a link to users based on their user ID. Don’t know what your backup and restore procedure looks like, but if it resets the auto-increment counter of the wp_users table, then adding new users will take over the lost user’s ID.
