New users getting admin role automatically

    I have Buddypress along with bbpress installed on my site. Since past few days all new users who register for my website they automatically get administrator role in website and keymaker role in bbpress forum.
    Is there any way to solve this issue?

    While I do not have a BuddyPress installation to review, you might want to check Settings — General. There is an option for new Default User Role. Is that set as administrator? If so, try to change it to subscriber.

    Thanks. This solved the issue. I don’t know how come it got changed to admin. Thanks anyways.
