New Users Fields

Why did you not just merge fields with WordPRess for Users, that is so weak to have two different profiles. That makes it extremely difficult to work with when modifying it. It would have saved you lots of time and effort as well. As it stands now, a user wants to see signup fields before approval and the way you have it set up it makes it nearly impossible to do so, so it needs to be completely re-written, if one can even find the signups page. You should have though out that user xprofile table better when all you had to do was use the existing user table and user-meta.
