• Scenario:
    – ‘TestUser’ registers on my site.
    – Receives the Account Activation email.
    – Clicks on the confirm button and am properly redirected into the site.
    BUT…
after logging out and attempting to log back in a second time, the user gets an ‘Invalid Password’ error.

So, I log in to the Admin account and reset the password for TestUser (with exactly the same password used during registration) then I am able to sign in TestUser properly. Thus, the user is only able to login AFTER an Admin level password reset. As the TestUser, I am unable to complete a self-reset. I receive the reset link but when clicked on, receive an ‘Invalid Link’ error.

I have shut off all caching and CAPTCHA plugins and then all non-essential plugins, but have not attempted the full reversion to WP 2017 theme and no plugins method of conflict testing.

So, still looking for a solution…

I did attempt the full conflict testing method and cloned the entire site to a sandbox, switched to Twenty Fifteen Theme and turned off ALL plugins except Ultimate Member – The problem still persists.
Users are not allowed to log in a second time.

    Hi @medmancreative,

What version of the Ultimate member you have installed on your site?
Do you have a caching plugin or server side caching e.g. Memcached, Varnish cache or Cloud flare? Please try excluding Ultimate member pages from the cache and see if it helps.

    Regards.

I have Ultimate Member Version 2.0.43 installed and all caching plugins are disabled, within WordPress and Server side.
I do not have any options to exclude Ultimate Member pages from caching.
