    Im a pro user for ultimate addons for CF7, and have been waiting for Hydra to be implemented to the plugin, but recently hydra has been pushed to install so i did but it seems to be a standalone plugin, I was under the impression it was going to be implemented on the addons also.
    so i have a few questions if i may:
    1- is Hydra supposed to be a standalona plugin and the bookings are going to be removed from the UCF7 altogether (unrelated to this plugin)
    2- i have been trying it out and linked 1 clone form to test it out its working great but i have selected to take payments with paypal (sandbox) to try it out but the paypal buttons not showing on frontend after the form is completed.
    3- on your website documentation talks about hydra creating 3 pages
    — Hydra login ( i already have a login page ) can WP users not use their loging instead?
    — Hydra Register ( as above)
    — Hydra frontend (really Cool idea)
    However i did not see any of these pages created at all ( is this on a pro only?

    So far its looking great!
    Requests:
    — Perhaps it would be nice to have a shortcode to add in a registered user profile some sort of information regarding their bookings ie:
    – past bookings
    – upcoming bookings
    – Reschedule
    – Cancel booking

    Hi @pcclondon – Thank you for your continued support as a pro user of Ultimate Addons for CF7. I appreciate your feedback on the Hydra plugin and am here to address your concerns:

    1. Hydra Plugin: Hydra Booking is a standalone plugin designed to enhance booking and appointment features. It does not replace UACF7’s functionalities, but please note that future updates for the UACF7 booking addon will not be provided as our focus shifts to improving Hydra.
    2. PayPal Button Issue: We’re aware of the issue with the PayPal button not displaying and are actively working to resolve it. We’ll keep you updated on our progress.
    3. Hydra Pages: The automatic creation of Hydra-specific pages( login, register, and frontend dashboard ) is in staging and will be released shortly, likely in the next day or two.
    4. Shortcodes for Bookings: We’re developing a shortcode builder that will soon include options for managing bookings, with plans to expand based on your valuable suggestions such as displaying past and upcoming bookings and managing cancellations.

    Your positive feedback on Hydra Booking is greatly appreciated, and we’re committed to making it even better. Thank you for your patience and insightful suggestions.

    Wow Amazing and swift reply.
    I have another question if i may
    Since Bookings will no longer exist on UCF7 im ok with using Hydra as its a massive upgrade and i do not mind paying for the pro version of Hydra in due time, however i noticed when i use a CF7 form in Hydra it does not save the details for the attendies in Hydra is this because both are using different tags?
    for instance i have custom tags in html in UCF7

    <p>
    <label for="first-name">First Name <span style="color: red;">*</span> <small>(Required)</small></label>
    <br />
    [text* first-name id:first-name autocomplete:given-name placeholder "Enter your first name"]
    </p>

    I wouldnt mind remaking the questions for attendees in Hydra but fields/entried are not being saved in UCF7 Database, so at the moment there is this dilema:
    1- Hydra questions = Works but not save in database and paypal works
    2- CF7 Form embeb = Saves in Database but does not save fields for attendees in Hydra and no paypal

    Its really good to know Hydra frontend is coming soon as i want to give access to host for their bookings in a clean enviroment away from backend so kudos for implementing that cant wait for it

    Keep Up the good work!
    Cant wait to see how development progresses in the future

    Hi @pcclondon

    I wanted to share an important update with you. Our main goal in pushing Hydra is to provide more booking options for CF7 users (while also catering to non-CF7 users). However, we want to assure you that this transition is not about making a few extra bucks from our existing UACF7 Pro users who have already invested in our plugin with the expectation of ongoing updates.

    To show our appreciation, all existing UACF7 Pro users will receive “Hydra Pro” as a complimentary upgrade. We will be sending out an email soon with details on how to claim it, including for you.

    If you’d like to access it now, simply open a ticket through our support system, and we’ll be more than happy to provide it. We’d love for you to use it and share your feedback so we can continue improving it for our valued users like yourself.

    @mdashikul will get back to you with answers to your other questions soon (Inshallah).

    Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! ??

    Ohhh WOW !!!
    That is such great news !
    I was not expecting that and i am more than happy in supporting Hydra and your developers team.
    My only issue atm is hydra not saving into database Pro, Which im sure in due time you guys will make it work.
    Honestly im lost for words for your offer i will gladly take it as i do prefer to use stripe over paypal, although as a registered charity paypal only charges 1.4% fees and stripe 1.5% as standard atm.
    Im not the average developer i just like technology and coding etc so as a volunteer to the charity i have built the site myself and so i am trying to make it as best as i can and everyday im improving upon it ( i Love the challenge ?? )
    You will deffinitly get my review of 5 stars on both UCF7 and Hydra just for the support ive had so far and the great plugins i have used so far.

    My recommendation is perhaps not make it free to PRO users of UCF7 but maybe a simbolic value lets say 20% from the value of a non PRO user.
    Maybe send a 1 time use voucher of 80% discount for the paid for Hydra Im sure alot of users would accept it.
    in my point of view a transition from UCF7 bookings into Hydra Free is already a massive upgrade
    So far i love everything ive seen and im sure withing the next 12 months of development it will be as popular as UCF7 is.
    Well done guys for yet another amazing development!
    (Inshallah) and happy Ramadam

    Hi @pcclondon – Thank you so much for your kind words and support—it truly means a lot to our team! We’re thrilled that you’re enjoying Hydra and appreciate your valuable feedback.

    With our latest update, we’ve introduced the frontend dashboard, and as a special offer, we’re providing HydraBooking Pro free of charge to users who already have the Ultimate Addons for Contact Form 7 (Pro).

    Regarding the database-saving issue and PayPal concerns, could you please update to the latest version of the plugin? These issues should now be resolved. However, if you still encounter any difficulties, please let us know—we’re always here to help!

    Thank You
