• Hope the developer can help. The plugin has worked in many use cases but the new issue is really problematic.

    Emails are arriving to users seeking to create a password or reset password and links are either expired or no link at all appears.

    When new members are approved an automated email arrives and tells them to set a password. This links says expired. Also if you hit reset password similar problem except no link at all appears in the email.

    I will have to abandon this plugin if this can’t be resolved. Thanks for your help.

  • Maybe it’s because you have a limit on password reset and it has been exhausted? Try removing the retry limit or setting a higher number than 3 by default.

    Hi sorry no this is not an issue with limits on the number of password resets because it happens on first time attempt to set or reset.

    Having the same issue. Have checked the “send HTML emails” and changed the number of reset attempts.

    I can’t replicate it every time. Sometimes the link works but most times it says it’s an invalid key. The link spits out a strange string.

    Do you use a caching plugin or server side caching or your server?
    Try to disable caching plugin and see if it helps.
    Please make sure that you have the latest version of the Ultimate member installed.
