new user registrant doesnt get email with password

the registration form it’s not working, the user doesn’t get the e-mail with password. i dont have any aditional plugin. how i make it work? im hostd at godaddy.
instead i do get the notification from user that he did registrer ,but i see this only from dashboard>users, and only i can set the password.
