When a new user registers through the woocommerce my-account page the notification mail to the admin is not send. The new user does receive a notification email.

I have checked this carefully and it is not a smtp issue. I have installed and correctly configured the fluent smtp plugin. In the logs of this plugin i can see that only the notification to the user is send, not the one to the admin.

When i register a user through the dashboard -> add new user then the admin notification is sent as expected.

I have disabled all plugins, except woocommerce and fluent smtp and switched to the default 2022 theme.

    Any suggestions?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @knireis

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that the admin is not receiving the New Account notification email, correct?

Kindly be informed that this is the intended behavior. The New Account email is only sent to the customer’s email address when they sign up via checkout or account pages. You can check this under WooCommerce > Settings > Emails.

When i register a user through the dashboard -> add new user then the admin notification is sent as expected.

This notification email is different from the New Account email being handled by Woo. This is being handled by WordPress core.

Here’s the WP Mail Log for your reference:

    Hope this helps!
