    Hello,

When a user goes to the register form to create an account for themselves, it works and allows them to create an account, and they are then emailed the new user welcome / password reset email. Password reset works. When using this workflow, the admin of the site only gets an email when the new user resets their password for the first time. They do not get an email when the user successfully completes the login form. This means that if a user fills out the new account creation form when they are putting in their first order through WooCommerce, they never actually have to reset their password, which means that the admin never gets an email notification about a new account being created.

However, if the admin logs into the site and creates a new user via the dashboard -> users -> new, the notification email does actually get sent to the admin alerting them of the new account on the site, whether the user resets their password or not. (If user goes through password reset workflow, the admin would then also get the email alerting them of the user’s password reset).

Why is it that new user accounts only trigger an automated notification email to the admin when it’s the admin themselves making the new user account. It seems that they would not need this notification since they are the ones making the account so they obviously know about it.

I want the new users (upon completing registration form for themselves) to automatically trigger an email notification at both steps (filling out reg form, and also upon password reset) because I have been getting quite a bit of new users for which I am never getting notified that they exist. How can this be accomplished?

    Thanks,

    Bryan
