I want to remove the /wp-admin/ suffix from the URL link for the New User Notification. I am using a Gravity Forms Login widget on the home page instead.

Can you help me find the notification email that sends the password and URL link to the new user?

I’m beginning to suspect that BNFW is not involved, but here’s the specs:

-Using WordPress Genesis Responsive theme Magazine Pro
-Using Gravity Forms for for our Subscription requests
    -Using BNFW for notifications

Gravity Forms is set to allow new user self-activation and optioned for WordPress to send email with password. This email has the link to go back to log in as https://domain.com/wp-admin – I want to remove the wp-admin

I thought that by having BNFW the notification could be customized. I created a custom BFNW notification, but WordPress (or Gravity Forms) is not using it.

    Regards,
    JoeM

    Hi @cypressnut,
    Thanks for your message.

It sounds like Gravity Forms might be overriding the notification that you’ve set up.
The notifications you’re looking for in BNFW are ‘New User Registration – For Admin’ and ‘New User Registration – For User’.

You mention self-activation: are you using multisite?

    Thanks,

No, I am not. What I mean by self-activation is that it does not require one of us to approve the new user registration.

I can edit any and all notifications for the Gravity Forms (or I thought I could). The documentation for Gravity Forms says that WordPress and not Gravity Forms sends the new user registration, so I need to find where that is. Time to call a real developer!!

Looks like my stay at a Holiday Inn was pure crap.

    Thanks!

    Hi @cypressnut,
Sorry, you’ve lost me a bit.

You mention Gravity Forms and WordPress but not what notifications you have set-up for BNFW. Can you clarify what these are?

Also, have you tried the filters from this page in the documentation to see if one helps you to resolve the issue?

    Thanks,
    Jack

Sorry for the confusion. My next move is to contract the original developer to address the issue with Gravity Forms. If he can solve it, then we can close this.

As for the BNFW notifications, I did create one for subscriber users and one for other (not subscribers) users. Also, I could not find an answer in documentation.

Give me a day or so.
