new user not receiving password by email

    Hi, I’m still testing out my site and when registering as a new user I dont receive a email with the password and also I dont get a email alerting me to new user registered to my admin email…now this worked fine last month so not sure what I have done since to stop this from working? am getting over 700 views a day on my site and worried how many cannot comment or post cos they not recieved password!

    by the way I should add that the new user shows up in the authors and users interface!

    actually its fixed! nothing wrong in the first place, what it was i kept signing up and deleting a account using the same email address, the one that worked originally, so for some reason, even thought the account was deleted and signed up with the same address the email did not come thru, maybe its a kind of block? i tried a different email address and it worked!
