New User – Editor Status

I have just added a new user – editor status. How does this person get into the admin section to edit?

I am guessing that they have to download WordPress and then sign in to the site????

Then they will be able to add or change content on the pages. ???

I have never gotten an answer to any of my questions. I think I am too new to WordPress to be able to even write an intelligent question.
