New user E-mail with password NOT SENT

Hello. I’ve just installed WordPress and it is configured and running, I created some categories, wrote some posts, but can’t create users by the normal registration process, password is NEVER SENT to the email. I reviewed some posts related to this topic and verified that sendmail is installed and working, php and server requirements are there and running, but users can’t register, I must give them access by hand because they don’t get the password. What can I do or where can I search for the problem?
