new user doesn’t appear in dropdown list of Author

  • Am not able to assign newly added user Author to a post (or event, course, or other pages) and their name doesn’t appear in the dropdown list of Authors.

    Please assist. Thanks.

    Theme: Eleganto PRO 1.5.9
    User Plugins:
    User Role Editor Version 4.56.1
    Ultimate Member Version 2.1.9
    (also have Tutor LMS and WooCommerce plugins)

  • You have too many plugins. I don’t know which plugin(s) is interfering with your issue you are having. You need to deactivate the plugins one by one to see which is causing the issue.

    For example, my company still used Jetpack but sometime Jetpack does interfere with my other pay plugins. It’s frustrating.
