New user created via GravityForms

    I am using GravityForms new user registration add-on.

    When a new user is created, my custom notification (using “User Registration – For User” type) is not sent.

    When I create the new user using the standard WordPress interface, the email is sent fine.

    Do you have any suggestions on why this would be?

    Thanks for your message.

    That is correct, this currently won’t work with BNFW. The reason is that Gravity Forms uses it’s own hooks to insert the user into the database instead of the default WordPress ones, so BNFW won’t pick up the new user and issue notifications for them .

    Gravity Forms compatibility is on my roadmap as a paid add-on but probably won’t be ready for a little while yet. If it’s a feature you’d really like to see sooner rather than later, you can prioritise development of this feature by donating towards the plugin here.
