New User confirmation email

So, I am being added as a new user to a website but WordPress has refused to send an email for me to confirm the invite and be able to access the backend of this website.
I tried login in with the password created by the admin but it was not identified and when I attempted ′forgot password′, it said that the website is unable to send emails. I am currently managing 4 websites and I don′t think that should restrict me from being added to one more.
I don′t understand why this is happening. can someone explain?

This sounds like a hosting issue. A couple of suggestions:
1. Contact your host.
2. Go around the hosting-based email by installing one of the SMTP plugins.
