New Update to WP 8 Causes Profiles to “Not Be Found”

After updating WP to 4.8 the profiles for each team member are not found (using the pro version).

The above is a test profile I created.

I was also getting a horrible:

“Notice: unserialize(): Error at offset 0 of 1 bytes” which continued to go all the way to the tlpteamshortcode.php file.

I had a set of 4 profiles in a department used in a layout and no matter what I changed the layout to it stayed this way. The only way I was able to remove it was by repurposing an old layout setting I made that, for whatever reason, was not causing this issue.
