• Edit: The new update of Spectra (formerly: Ultimate Add-Ons for Gutenberg) messed up the writing space for me. The lines and paragraphs are compacted. Hard to distinguish!

Earlier, I could easily put an image caption (by clicking on the uploaded image), but now I have to click on the Block (on the right side), scroll down and toggle on caption functionality there. Plus, the immediate text line after an uploaded image is condensed to the image – as if it’s a caption. I’m using the Astra theme. Please fix these issues in the next update. Thank you!

    Hey @einsstark,

    Thanks for writing in!

We have provided an option to users to adjust the spacing between blocks in the editor as they like.

By default it is kept as 0 pixels, but you can change it the way you like from Settings > Spectra > Settings > Editor Settings > Blocks Editor Spacing & your issue will get fixed.

Here is a reference video created for you – https://share.bsf.io/X6uQ4Adw

Hope it helps, let me know how it goes.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for your assistance with my issue.

I just ran into the same issue and disabled and then re-enabled all of my plugins to find the culprit…

It’s unbelievable that the plugin just overwrites the WP default for this without warning. Please change that with the next update.

Agree, could you please make the reset button to just reset without adding any css rule for spacing function?
It’s currently breaking my sites by overriding my global css rule.
