New update is a bare disaster

  • Having installed this plugin since long, I will delete it now. Why? I don’t want to migrate to any fancy new features. I want the plugin to work as it did. Staying in legacy mode, I’m constantly bothered on every backend site with your message

    No way to stop spaming. Plugin overloaded.

    Thank you for commenting – that update message is supposed to stay dismissed once you’ve closed it.

    Can you please try clearing your site cache to see if it resolves the issue?

    Hi Rebecca,

    I reinstalled and things get weird. With one installation, I can clear chache data, use it in a “private window” – always the same issue.
    The other installation works well as you describe it.
    Same themes installed, so there might be an interferance with another plugin?

    Hello @4tegs,

    Apologies for the delay here. We’ve had some internal things to deal with lately (lost a dev to another company, and a support rep was out for awhile).

    Good news is we’ve hired another dev (and the old dev even agreed to help us onboard the new dev) and our whole support team is now back and ready for action!

    I know it’s been awhile, but have you learned anything new about your issue? I think you were probably right about there being some conflict with a plugin, did anything come from that hunch?
