  • Hi,

my master slide has disappeared too after updating my WP system.

could you let us know how to fix please.

    Thanks

    Hi again,

Are we only 3 to face this issue ?
I found this when running firebug :

    ReferenceError: MasterSliderLite is not defined
    var masterslider_138b = new MasterSliderLite();

    Thanks for help !

Hello people. Sorry i’ve not responded to this sooner. I got in touch with Averta and the solution (at least it worked for me) is as follows:

“Please first disable slider caching option in slider settings page and check it again, it the problem remains send us a temporary login information, we’ll check it and get back to you as soon as possible.

PS. Please note that dedicated support is not available for FREE version and we can’t provide support quickly for free version users.”

    Hope that helps.

    Hi,
    Thanks for reply.
I tried what you suggested and it worked !
And when I enable slider caching option, it disappears again.
    Thank you very much.

    The problem is resolved

Happy days! The lesson from this is ‘beware of updates’! They always muck things up.

I agree, but when these updates are automatic, what to do…

That’s strange, they’re not for me. I think you can change your settings from ‘automatically update’ to ‘ask me whether to install updates’. All of mine are manual, and i do them when i get a notification. Can’t help you with how you change your settings, but i’m sure Google will. Good luck!

I know how to disable it, but as it was an update from WP 4.1 to 4.1.1, I was quite confident. I shouldn’t have !

Happy I found this thread….but …I tried it, and it isn’t working for me…?

My slider has been up and running for months and today it’s gone. Kind of panicking as I’m not sure how to get it back. Any help would be so much appreciated ??

    Thanks!

(cont’d) …weird thing is that there wasn’t an update… my slider just up and left.
