New Update Error

    Hello,

    today I have the new update 1.4.3 – Oct 29, 2024 installed.

    Since then there is the error message: ‘There was a critical error on your website. Please check the inbox of your website administrator email address for further instructions.’

    In the email that came from the WordPress system there are the following error details: ‘An error of type E_PARSE was caused in line 78 of the file /kunden/247404_30916/jobs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/koko-analytics/src/class-chart-view.php. Error message: syntax error, unexpected ‘_000’ (T_STRING)’.

    Hello @sasa83,

    I’m sorry to hear that. The issue is because our plugin uses a feature that became available in PHP 7.4, yet you seem to be running an older version than that.

    We will be pushing a fix for our plugin shortly, but since your PHP version is so old and no longer supported, we highly recommend upgrading to a more recent version as soon as possible. If you are unsure how to go about this, please ask your webhost.

    Thank you for the quick response. I wasn’t able to read that from the change log. ??
