New update broke my site

    I just updated the plugin today and my website broke (loaded nothing).

    Perhaps the new update is incompatible with older versions of WordPress (4.9)?

    I restored it by deleting the plugin but I still find it very useful and would like to continue using it. Please support if possible.

    Do you see any related errors in the error_log file located in the root of your WP installation?

    I had the same issue using WordPress 4.9.14. Update 2.12.3 caused a fatal error:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘, expecting ‘)’ in /home/content/38/4256738/html/nameofwebsite/wp-content/plugins/limit-login-attempts-reloaded/core/LimitLoginAttempts.php on line 1595
