So figured something out when you go into themes > Customize

Then the sidebar is working please see attached.

WooCommerce isn’t really responding on this issue.

same here. Using elementor pro and woocommerce cart widget. When in edit mode of a page the side cart displays cart items. But on the frontend nothing. Even after clearing the whole cache and regenerating elementor css js files…

No js errors, nothing… Really crazy that such things can happen…

Thanks for the downgrade tip. First time for me and luckily it worked… But it won’t all the time

What do you guys & gals use to safely downgrade?

What do you guys & gals use to safely downgrade?

nothing fancy on my side. Full dump of database and full archive of “httpdocs” without images… Certainly not the simplest but for sure 100% safe.

Then downgrade by going to the woocommerce plugin download page, click “advanced” on the right hand side and download the previous version 7.7.2.

Then install it as any other plugin by uploading the zip file when adding a new plugin. It will ask you if you want to overwrite the current version. Say yes if you still want to proceed.

Then clear any cache you can and test.

Im ffar from being a WP expert but that’s how I had to proceed. But all WP installations are different and use different plugins…

I use WP Rollback to go back to the previous version, no issues with it.

Got the same mini cart bug with Elementor and Woo. All at their latest version. The cart sidebar does work when in the theme customizer, as others have mentioned. The bug appears on two sites with very different Elementor/Pro versions (3.7.7 vs 3.13.1), only the Woocommerce version is at the latest 7.8.0 version. So Woocommerce must be the culprit.

Tried all suggestions found when googling Woo mini cart problem, including deactivating all other plugins and changing the theme, but nothing has fixed this critical usability bug. But even downgrading Woo to version 7.0.0, clearing cache and repairing/updating the database has been futile.

Seems like the issue is now fixed in Elementor Pro 3.14.0

Can anyone else corroborate resolution with Elementor Pro 3.14.0?

    @gwall

I’m using Elementor Pro 3.14.0 + Hello Elementor + WooCommerce 7.8.0 the menu cart seems to be working now. If you read the release notes from elementor you can see what they fixed.

Fix: Mini cart template appears as empty in various scenarios in Menu Cart widget (#22789)

    Hi @firex20 ,

Thanks for reaching out, and apologies for the delay in receiving a response.

If I understand correctly, it seems the issue was being caused by Elementor Pro and an update to their plugin has resolved this, correct?

I will go ahead and mark this as resolved then – feel free to?create a new topic?if you need further help.

    Cheers!
