    I’m using the auto-renewal ssl feature provided by this plugin and for some reason it never worked. I always manually renew it by resetting the LE cert and re-issuing it. Btw, this is not a big deal expect since the new UI landed in, I can’t find a way to reset the LE cert and re-issue it manually.

    @mirkolofio,

    The auto renew feature requires certain capabilities on the server which on some hosting environments are blocked by the hosting company. That can’t be helped I’m afraid.

    The reset link is still there: it’s on the right top of the window when you’re in the SSL settings menu.

    Thanks Rogier,

    I was able to proceed through your direct link. I can’t see the SSL Settings menu without your direct link though. The “Let’s Encrypt” third tab it’s just not there.

    My server is GreenGeeks and it’s into your list of well known servers. Should the auto-renewal work with GreenGeeks? Also, I used to select the cPanel option and provide credentials. Now, I see that list of well-known providers and selected GreenGeeks. It’s not auto-installing it though (of course, with no credentials it can’t work). Should I stay with cPanel credentials?

    GreenGeeks is in our list of known hosts indeed:

    I see SSL is free on this host, and can be activated on the hosting account.
    see: greengeeks.com/support/article/getting-started-adding-lets-encrypt-ssl-greengeeks-account/

    The wizard should jump to the step telling you this. For this reason there is no option to enter credentials.

    The reason that the Let’s Encrypt menu is somewhat hidden, is that it’s not always necessary: it should only be offered if no SSL is available.

    Then next version will make this more visible when SSL has been generated within the plugin. You can always visit our article above, enter your domain, which leads you back to the Let’s Encrypt wizard.

    Let me know if you have any questions.
