New Topic Posting Twice

    Hi,

    Whenever a user posts, the topic is created twice (the second has -2) on the end of the URL to mark that it’s a duplicate.

    Any idea how to go about preventing this from happening, please?

    Hi, were running version 2.3.12 with WP 5.2

    Thanks – can you also confirm what theme you’re using?

    What happens if you test with a default theme like Twenty Nineteen?

    No problem.

    I’ve just switched back to the default theme and the issue goes away. Presuming it’s an issue with the theme we’re using, Divi (version 3.22.7).

    Okay, thanks for that. Are you using a child theme or the main Divi theme?

    We’re using a child theme, however, the duplication issue is still a problem with the main Divi theme activated.

    Plugin updated to next version fixed the problem.
