Hello everyone, I want to create new top-level pages (pages with no parents). However, as you can see with the linked page, it has a breadcrumb feature that shows it’s under Home. Pages that came with the Neve theme like Destinations and My Adventures did not have this, but new pages like the Initiatives and Student Guide pages that I created myself all have this breadcrumb feature.

How can I create new top level pages without having the breadcrumb feature?

  • As far as a site’s navigation is concerned, every page is a child page of the homepage (ie. front page). That’s a completely different thing from being a sub-page of the particular WordPress page you’ve designated as your homepage.

So the breadcrumb is accurate. But, of course, you can remove it if you want.

Oops never mind, I found out that the breadcrumb feature is good for SEO. Thanks @gappiah
