    Hi

Assume I know nothing about tech, so feel free to explain like to a child.

I created a new site, just for a blog, and tried to make it secure with this plugin. Immediately I was locked out for too many logins, despite not (as far as I am aware) logging in multiple times on any devices and being an admin.

After reading other threads, I tried Filezilla to try to get in and force logout, but Filezilla claims I have “530 Login incorrect” and “Critical error: could not connect to server” errors. This may be because I have two factor authentication on the main site.

So, I am completely locked out, no idea how to get back in, and – apparently – have the wrong log in details.

    Complete mess.

Is there anything I can do, or do I just have to sit and wait for 14 days????

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @fabricatrix,

Sorry to hear that. If you have access to your hosting control panel, please use File Manager and rename the loggedin plugin folder to something else. So it will automatically get deactivated. After that you can login to your site and delete the plugin. Then install and activate again and go to Loggedin settings and choose “Allow” method.

Thanks so much for the quick response, Joel.

Managed to get in via my host platform (which ordinarily redirects me to site login) but mysteriously glitched and let me straight in! Happy days.

    Fab x
