• Hi,

I just manually installed current non-beta WordPress onto my website domain: https://www.16BitSoft.com . I am completely new to WordPress and am trying to learn how to properly use it to customize my website. I have previous content live on the website now. The issue I have is that the theme preview does not work in my WordPress? (it shows the old website which is live on my domain). How do I have theme preview work for the currently installed theme in WordPress? Thanks, below is screenshot…

  • Hi,

You can click on the live preview button to see how the theme will look like and be able to use it’s customizer options, before deciding whether to activate that theme.

The following is an article which you may find it useful.

    Thank you

    Hi,

I am facing similar issue. I have just installed WordPress Version 4.8.3. I have not installed any plugins. The Themes I tried are Twenty Fifteen, Sixteen and Seventeens. When I click Live Preview, it return my old domain page.

I checked with my Web hosting provided, they mentioned I need to define a default HomePage. Where can I find this homepage on wordpress? Is it a HTML file? Thanks,
