New to WordPress check it out

  • I have a Linux server running out of my house hosting a buddy’s Paintball site so I thought I’d try installing and setting up my own blog. WordPress is surprisingly easy to setup and has so many features. It truly is brand new and a little generic. I’m hoping to use it to share some scripts I have built. I have several BASH, VBScipt, and Powershell scripts that others may find useful. Only a couple on the site now but as I have time I will post more. https://www.bechlerhome.com/blog

  • Pretty cool site dude. I liked the widget on the bottom left and right of the content area and like the playful way the sublinks pop up on the top bar. You could play around with the fav icon a bit more. so it does not look like an image/photo and reads clearly. The colors used for the site look solid and go well. I’d prpbably brighten the Top links a bit, since they feel a lill lost on the gray brackground. Would alternatively try making those fonts bold or a big bigger.
    Im curious to see the site with mores sublinks wondering if that jumpy menu effect will be effective for a longer list of links.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I appreciate the feedback. Yea, I through that fav icon together fast. I don’t like it either.
