• Could someone dumb this down for me? I have read a ton of articles on the subject but it still eludes me.
I assume that you want to ‘feed’ your blog information to various RSS newsgroups who will display your content (in your specified manner) on their sites for people to subscribe to &/or read. Right?
So questions….here is my site wwwlovinglearning.com/blog

How can I see my feed? I checked it it is valid, and I clicked on my links they go to boring HTML pages but what does it look like? And how do I get it do show my blog title and description? How can I get seperate feeds for individual posts?
Do I have to submit these things to the newsgroups or is that what my feed does?
Can you tell I don’t have a clue?
    Also….
I installed a plug in called ‘sem-subscribe-me’ that added everything on the sidebar below SYNDICATION, I wanted it to show a link like the others that I would call ‘subscribe me’ and would take you to a page where you could pick your host or whatever….I cannot find the page to do that on. I am going to post this part on their board actually thx

    Thanks so much in advance.

    Not really, no.

You want to offer feeds so that folks interested in you or your content can easily get updates via their feed readers.

Since you write it, subscribing to your own feed would probably be very boring, but would be a good way to learn about feed readers though.

Anywho, this article from feedburner seems to be one of the more lucid primers out there: https://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/feed101
