New Thread – Customizer not Saving Settings

Customizer will not save settings.

I have wiped out all child style.css, functions.php, header.php back to default.

Using customize settings it seems they apply but within a few minutes revert back to default.
Default:

Site Tag Line Show (should be hidden)
Site Title Show (should be hidden)

Colors:
All font and link colors revert to black.
Menu settings all widths reset to default.

Images:
Background image sets to none

Advanced > Site Wide CSS will not save.

I am saving and publishing between every change.

This has been an issue for a while and i have not updated anything in customize since my last backup restore. It seems the issue is once settings are published and saved in customizer.

Other sites are functioning normally i believe because customizer has not has not been published and saved. Once done settings will all revert back to default.

Set in Site wide CSS checked it has made correct work or not

Using Raindrops,boots and basic child theme( only style.css )

Browser Chrome, Edge and Fire fox.

Method of test

browser chrome

#site-title span{
        color:green;
}

1 set above value and Reload after viewing the blog
2 change browser(edge) login change color:red
3 Reload after viewing the blog
4 change browser(firefox) login change color:green
5 Reload after viewing the blog

Raindrops: pass the test
boots(raindrops child theme): pass the test
basic child theme fail edge,fail firefox.(customizer changed but blog revert)

re test basic child
After type in the text area, outside of the text area, click once
basic child theme:　pass the test

I can not detect issue yet.

Please check your customizer page

A few minutes, if really the change of setting is maintained fact, it might cache of problem

For some reason, it is possible that the setting field of the theme is broken

Remove the theme settings tells you how to revert to the default

are you using ‘zen cache’?

This plugin renewal now ‘Comet Cache’.

Raindrops theme has relate code for Comet Cache

Now not support old zen cache

recommend, change ‘Comet Cache’

I am using Comet Cache and still issues

After clearing my cache it seems to be retaining the settings.

I had to add the PHP line to the WP-Config file then Comet Cache showed up and after i clicked that all seems to be working.

Now it doesnt save sitewide CSS text.

When you have completed your input on the text area(Sitewide CSS),

Save and Publish before, try click once on the outside of the text area.

I feel it is parent theme install issue or javascript conflict.

Can you confirm whether or not the error of javascript has occurred?

If possible, please try to write here.

Edit Themes

Select theme to edit: Select raindrops , click Select Button
