I like it quite a bit. It has a great graphic feel with the white space.

I like it. It’s definitely a great idea to put excerpts on the first page without the sidebar clutter. Then add the sidebar stuff when going to an individual article.

I took your idea of laying out the posts in a row and applied it to a Vanilla forum I use.
