I updated amp to the latest version 2.0 at the time of writing. I ran the amp wizard and selected different themes but all have the same issue that the mobile view of the site is broken.

My Site Noobs2pro is a Gaming Site. So I wanted to give it a better user experience with one of the twenty series themes. I tried all themes but the same issue.

For eg: I just made the post on how to remove bloatware from miui and checked it in amp format. You get a picture like this:
I added a screenshot on Imgur and sent it. Let me know How I can fix it

    Amp plugin bug:? noobs2pro

  • Sorry to hear you’ve been encountering trouble applying one of the compatible themes in reader mode.

So we can understand your setup better and troubleshoot the active plugins please share your Site Health information using this form. There is also a section to share any PHP or console errors.

You can also check whether the same issue persists when deactivating your plugins in AMP only using the new Plugin Suppression tool.

The issue does not occur with reader mode but every other theme in the amp wizard. Twenty twenty or twenty sixteen for example. I originally wanted to use transitional mode but certain items like menu became unusable. The icon is visible but cannot be clicked etc. to switch to a more optimized theme with the reader mode. Only the legacy mode works properly but I want to use a proper theme for it.

If needed we can have a team viewer or skype call to fix the issue. Willing to provide creds if needed.

Thanks for the additional information. While we’re unable to login to users sites can you inform me if the same issue arises when you deactivate your additional plugins using the Plugin Suppression tool?

@shubhamtople Supplying your Site Health information will be the best way we can help to try to figure out what is going on.

It does seem like there is a plugin incompatibility issue. If you can re-enable Twenty Twenty or Twenty Sixteen, then visit an AMP page, you should see in the admin bar an AMP menu item. In that menu, you should see “Validate URL”. Please share a screenshot of what you see there. Specifically, I’d want to see if there are any validation errors related to CSS.

Also, if you can leave Twenty Twenty or Twenty Sixteen active so we can review, that would be helpful.

As requested I have switched to twenty sixteen theme. Kindly check

Also, I can only see amp validation errors when I am in a transitional mode. How do I see them in reader mode?

On the amp menu, I only see one option view non-amp version

I captured the output and put it on the AMP playground.

I tried using my phone just now. And I get a zoomed out desktop type view. can You use an actual device to see if its only my device or the actual site issue

Ah, this must be because you’ve turned off Developer Tools.

On the amp menu, I only see one option view non-amp version

In your WP user profile settings, you can find a toggle for “AMP Developer Tools”. Turn that on and you’ll see any validation errors reported in the admin bar for Reader mode.

I checked using mozilla and chrome browsers. both showed the same output. A zoomed out version as shown in https://imgur.com/gallery/OawtiyS

It doesn’t show zoomed out for me on Android.

Do you see this issue as well when logged-out of WP?

I can see a lot of errors with the amp version. How can I copy and send them to you?
