New theme install failed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT message

  • Incompatible archive PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    Is the theme you are trying to install a WordPress theme?

    I am having the same problem. I am trying to install a theme I just got and getting the following error message,

    Incompatible archive PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    Does anyone know how I can fix this?

    To the questions above, Yes, I can open the winrar file and see the files and Yes, it is a wordpress theme.

    Any suggestions?
