New theme – Blue Trimness (3 sidebar)

  • Hello everyone.

    I’m new here and totally newbie for wordpress (I met wordpress last month). I like wordpress for it’s convenient and powerful. so I tried to design a new theme to my site and it’s finish now. I would like to share with everybody who like it. I would like hear feedback from you ??

    Licensed as GPL.

    Description:
    Blue trimness is 3 columns auto fit browser width (best for 1024 x 768), no widgets. Tested on WordPress 2.5 . Design for https://www.chinareadonline.com by sylar.

    I’ve tested it under ie6, ie7, firxfox 2.0 . If you use other browser or browser version and meet any problem, please inform me. I would like to make it perfect.

  • I like the header, very nice graphic.

    However, you might want to run it through the validator at https://www.w3.org – you have some errors that need fixing.

    I just checked google analytics, many people leaved my site within 10 seconds ?? I’m not sure why this happen. if it because my site is very slow to open ? hope someone could tell me reason..

    If you are going to start designing themes, get serious and don’t forget to check in Opera 9.x. Although it took nearly 40 seconds to load, and I have broadband, it looks fine in Opera. You really need to find out what’s causing those slow loading times, I think that is off-putting to quite a few folks.

    Oh, and BTW, on line 183 of your stylesheet…

    Property magin-top doesn’t exist : 5px

    Fix that typo (margin-top).

    Then your site will validate, and that’s another thing you should get into the habit of doing if for no other reason than that it tends to shake out silly typos like that. (I make them all the time and I get paid to type so.. go figure.)

    aha.. I fixed all problem now, it’s passed valid of w3c now. Run Valid

    I installed wp-super-cache, it’s fast enough now in most time. but sometime it’s still slowly. I think it’s because LP virutal web hosting is not stable.
