New tags don’t show in cloud

    When I use a tag on a post that have not used before it does not show in the tag cloud on my sidebar. It’s not a delay because the first time this happened was about a month ago and that tag is still not in the cloud. I know the tags worked because I can type in the url for the different tags and find the posts, they just don’t show in the cloud. The tag cloud is otherwise still working as usual and increasing size/counts as tag usage goes up. This is also not a 2.3.3 problem as I just upgraded to it last week and the problem existed before.

    I just noticed that if I use one of these tags in two posts as opposed to just one it will then show in the cloud. But, I have other, older tags showing in the cloud that have only been used once, why will these new ones not show with just one post?

    What do you use to display the Tag Cloud? In other words, what is the code in your sidebar.php that displays the cloud?

    Thanks for the quick reply.
    It’s the widget that was already there when wordpress was installed, I didn’t do anything to get it. I don’t see anything in sidebar.php that relates to the tag cloud or to tags at all. Site is here: https://ohbuoyancy.net if you want to take a look.

    The Tag Cloud Widget will only show the top 45 most used tags.
