Did you tick the right box in Table VI?

Do you mean TableVI / B / 2a,b,c,d Thumbnail? I’m confused there on a couple of points –

This appears to be a global setting, applies to all galleries? Or does leaving the New Tab box in individual image settings clear prevent images from creating a new tab? I would like to use the New Tab feature for some galleries, but not all.

The drop down list for “Link page” shows “— The same post or page —” plus a couple of my galleries. But not the current gallery I am building up.

I did do a search on “New Tab” on your online tutorial, but that didn’t hit on anything helpful.

If it is a normal thumbnail from the album content display, it refers to Table VI-B2 indeed.

If you supply me a link to the page where your problem is on, i can investigate and determine which line in Table VI applies.

I am still not clear on those Table VI settings so they are still on the default state. Click on either of the 2 photos in the gallery I would like the detail version to appear in a new tab. The New Tab box is checked in the gallery entries.

Table VI-B2 tick the box under New tab should do it.

Ok, now that works. And I’m feeling especially stupid! But, the text posted at the top of the thumbnails page reappears at the top of the new tab page with the detail image. I would like for this new detail page to show only the image and whatever description I provide within WPPA+, not the old text in the thumbnails page???

Create a WP page with the text you want to appear obove the slideshow, or nothing if you like. Give it any arbitrary name, and put as content at least in:

    [wppa type="landing"][/wppa]

If you open this page it will show no wppa images at all, but when you select this page in Table VI-B2 under Link page, it will work as you want
