• Avoid installing the 1.08 Sydney Toolbox theme, or updates to the core theme, at all costs.

The new toolbox install breaks working WordPress sites, and if you do manage to get the new theme installed, you will see a radically different theme design and layout.

I’m not complaining too loudly here, because obviously the theme is provided for free.

A known working combination is Sydney theme 1.55, as well as Sydney Toolbox 1.05.

aThemes, you should roll back all these changes immediately. You DON’T push major architectural changes into a minor release update.

  • Hello,

and if you do manage to get the new theme installed, you will see a radically different theme design and layout

I can try to help you with this if you provide a link to an affected page and some screenshots.

We had problem with updates, but it’s fixed and shouldn’t affect appearance.

    Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi, I just made the update and it crushed my website:

    https://www.sergiocabrera.com.co/

    ?What should I do?

    This is what it says:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare sydney_set_import_files() (previously declared in /home2/sergioca/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sydney-toolbox/demo-content/setup.php:15) in /home2/sergioca/public_html/wp-content/themes/sydney/demo-content/setup.php on line 22

And now I can′t go back and the website is not working

    Hello,

Did you update Sydney Toolbox plugin and the Sydney theme?

    Kind Regards, Roman.

    Yes I did both

    Hello,

I have just checked your website code and noticed that you have Sydney 1.51 installed, so please update the Sydney theme. You can do it manually through FTP or cPanel.

    Kind Regards, Roman.
