New support forum block editor painful to use, can’t style multiple blocks

Often I am posting to the support forum with multiple paragraphs and lines of text.

If for instance I paste a section of a log or error across multiple lines, it puts them into separate blocks. Then when I try to format those the options are incredibly limited. I can’t make them all code blocks, I can’t seem to blockquote or indent. I can’t bold or italicize, etc.

It would be nice to have that ability across multiple blocks.

Alternatively, is there a way to write posts in a classic editor block fashion, or source code view?

Also please note, that Block editor can be disabled in your forum profile settings.
