New Subversion User

  • I have build a small plugin (user-profile-change-email) and tried to release it using Subversion, but I cannot find it when I search for it.

    I am new to SVN, so it is probably something I have done (or not done).

    What I did was to follow the “How to Use Subversion” article and
    1. Download TortoiseSVN
    2. Checkout my blank repository to my local svn_repos
    3. Added my file to the trunk folder locally
    4. Did an SVN Commit (using Windows Explorer, right click)

    I can see the files in my SVN trunk directory, but I cannot find them in the WordPress Plugin Directory.

    Any suggestions, please?

    Twigged it!

    You have to get the readme.txt right or the plugin doesn’t get published.

    Just updated my readme.txt and now the plugin is available.
