• Hello, I noticed that the new subscriber emails sent to the admin will also mention all other and even deleted lists which the new subscriber has previously subscribed to.

I sometimes create new lists, or merge or delete old lists and so it happens that I have deleted lists in the trashcan, and it also happens that subcribers I already had will subscribe to one of the new lists. (I do not necessarily want to delete the old lists permanently if I don’t have to, maybe I will restore and use an old list again.)

Anyway, for a better overview I would like to see only the list(s) in the subject of those admin mails for which the subscriber has newly subscribed. The text of this mail could very well enumerate the remaining lists, something like this:

“XY has just subscribed to list(s) X, ….
They are already subscribed to the lists Y, Z, A [deleted], B [deleted]….

    Something like this.

    Hello there @w-sky ,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I just wanted to clarify some details to ensure that I fully understand your request before providing a solution.

When you mention “new subscriber emails sent to the admin,” are you referring to the notification emails that the MailPoet plugin sends to the administrator email address when a new subscriber is added to the list(s)? Also, are you currently able to receive these notification emails correctly?

In terms of the request for a better overview, are you looking to modify the subject line of the notification email to only include the name of the list(s) that the subscriber has newly subscribed to? And in the body of the email, would you like to see a list of all the remaining list names that the subscriber is also subscribed to, including any previously deleted lists?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Have a great day!

Hello, thanks for looking into this. Yes, I am referring to the notification emails that the MailPoet plugin sends to the administrator email address when a new subscriber is added to the list(s). I do receive those mails fast and reliable.

And yes again, exactly that. I am looking to modify the subject line of the notification email to only include the name of the list(s) that the subscriber has newly subscribed to and everything else you wrote.

I think this would not only be useful for my purposes, but would be an improvement for everyone, since the information would be more precise and because it is actually illogical to report that a subscriber has subscribed to an old or deleted list if he actually just signed himself into a new list. In the current automatic mails, MailPoet doesn’t differentiate at all.

    Hi there @w-sky .

I’m sorry for taking this long to get back to you. Thank you for confirming and giving more details on what you have in mind.

I agree your suggestions would make the New Subscriber Notification email better.

It’s not on our roadmap now, but you’re welcome to add it as a suggestion here:?https://feedback.mailpoet.com

Our team will take it into account when discussing new features and improvements for the plugin ??

    Thank you!
