New subdomain sites DNS problem

    Since I updated to 5.9 I cannot create any new subdomains without getting the error:
    “This site can’t be reachedCheck if there is a typo in thecoachontheroad.stefaniescheidgen.com.
    DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN”

    I have already tried all dns issue fixes found on the internet but nothing works.

    Is there anyone here who knows what I can do? Old subdomains that I had before work fine.

  • The domain thecoachontheroad.stefaniescheidgen.com does not exists in DNS (not even currently). You have to add this subdomain in your domain-management. For questions ask your domain-hoster.

    What I do not understand is that I did not have to do anything like this for my other site https://blusztyn.stefaniescheidgen.com/.

    I just created it under wp admin panel (add new site) and it showed.
    But for my new site I get the DNS error and cannot access the dashboard for it either.

    Is there some new configuration that I did not need for the first site?

    This is my setup in the wp-config:

    define(‘SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL’, true);
    define(‘DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE’, ‘stefaniescheidgen.com’);
    define(‘PATH_CURRENT_SITE’, ‘/’);

    define(‘BLOG_ID_CURRENT_SITE’, 1);`

    @stefaniescheidgen: No, unfortunately that does not solve the problem. Since it is a DNS problem, it must be solved at the domain. That is, the subdomain must be stored there. You should contact your domain provider if you have questions about DNS settings. WordPress can not influence this.

    i installed WP on site hiking range.
