New sticky post gives 404 on ‘most recent posts’

  • Hi,

    I just changed from having a Page to a ‘sticky post’, but when the sticky is open, if I click on the name of the post in my ‘more recent posts’ I get a 404.

    If I change my permanlinks from /%postname%/ to the ‘default’ then all works well, but when I change back to /%postname%/ the problem returns.

    Any help would be much appeciated,

    I switched backwards and forwards several times between the default and /%postname%/ and now it is working.

    Not sure why this fixed the problem though,
