New Site- Question About Plugin/Indexing

  • Hello everyone. I’m familiar with WordPress, but not as much with the Yoast SEO Plugin. My problem is that my new website, doesn’t seem to be indexing properly. I have entered my website on Google Webmaster Tools, and it shows that all my pages (11) have been “Ever Crawled” and 11 pages have not been selected.

    Can anyone shed some light on possible reasons why this is happening? I felt like I spent a decent amount of time optimizing the site, perhaps I am forgetting something? Thanks in advance for any assistance!

  • In your settings, did you make sure that the privacy settings are set to allow everyone to see your site.

    In the plugin section, there’s the option of submitting the sitemap to Google. Make sure that’s done too.

    The other thing to keep in mind as well is that Google does take some time to crawl everywhere as well. You might need to wait and see how things go in a few weeks or so.
