New select field in Billing

    I can successfully add a Select field to the checkout bililng form.
    I Use comma-separated values.
    I set tor required.
    I set it to show in email and on thank you page.

    The select field appears fine in the checkout and options can be selected.

    However, the value is not passed on to the thank you page nor is it displayed in the email.

    How to solve this issue?

    Just a follow-up….

    I tested again, and if I fill out the additional information comment field, the value from this field will be shown on the custom field I created in the billing form.

    So…

    Custom field contact method: selected option “Phone call”
    Additional information comment field “Test”

    Order mail and thank page show “Test” for both
