New Season

    We keep statistics for 1 team, but create all teams in the league for scheduling/events.

    We are moving from the 2022 season, to the 2023 season.

    When I create a new event, and select “2023” Season, the choice of players I have is all of the 2022 players.

    How can that default show me ONLY the 2023 players?

  • Sportspress > Settings > General > Current Season

    Select last season (2023) here

    If you select the current season in the season tab in the player lists, it will now be done according to the season you set in the general settings.

    Likewise, if you only select Sportspress > Settings > General > 2024 for the current Season for the upcoming season, your player lists will only include 2024 for the current season.

    I am not following/suggestion did not work. I am unable to see/attach images here.

    Sportspress > Settings > General > Current Season
    ***This is set for 2023

    The problem I have is:
    Events > Edit Event > Teams > **When I choose the team, it populates the options to add the old/last year team. This should show the CURRENT 2023 team.

    Season selection in events is manual.
    There are no season selections available at this level.

    I understand that, however:

    In the event, I select 2023 (new/current season)
    When I choose teams, the team populates all of the players from the 2022 team for me to select as players in that event.

    I need only the 2023 players to show in that selections.

    This happens if a separate season selection assignment is not made for teams and players.
    The player arrangement on your chosen team must be that season.
    When you filter by selecting the relevant club and season in the Sportspress players tab, do you see only the players of the season you selected?

    Event Edit Page : Don’t press Show All to see the players

    Sportspress > player, filter by entering the season and club information into the filter and check if your players are assigned.
