I am concerned that lately I have tried some plugins only to discover that the scripts have contained 3rd party web beacons/bugs/trackers. yet this serious privacy concern has not been given full disclosure (or even mentioned) on the plugin page by the plugin developer.

I honestly believe that plugin developers should not be allowed to add a 3rd party tracker/beacon/bug into their scripts, or if they are allowed to do this, then they should be forced to mention what beacon/tracker/bug they are using and what data it collects.

By not disclosing this data, and with privacy a growing concern amongst many Internet users, full disclosure will show trustworthiness of the plugin developer, but as it is the now, adding 3rd party trackers/beacons/bugs without disclosure, shows complete disregards to privacy and shows dishonesty by the plugin developer.
