New Responsive Web Developer Site

  • Thoughts on our new site for our responsive web design company?

    It is using ZURB’s foundation framework and should be lighting fast even for users on 3G or DSL. We’ve tested with scores as low as 1.9 seconds on DSL / Chrome on webpagetest.org and 685ms on Pingdom.

    Happy to take any constructive feedback you all may have out there? Should work pretty flawlessly no matter what device you are on.

  • I think your site looks great! The overall design is clean while the messaging is clear. Here are some initial thoughts:

    – The main pic on home page takes up about 80% of real estate on a 1280 x 800 resolution. Although I like your slogan, I think you could get the same message across without pushing your valuable content beneath the fold.

    – In the Lab section, there is a lot of dead white space under each box.

    – Content is well done but mixing in an image here and there in the subpages would be welcomed.

    – ‘Secret footer’ is a nice touch but don’t you want to make the facebook part much easier to find?

    – If you have samples of your work, I would strongly suggest you provide them in your Work section.
