New Rendez Vous link is not working

    I’m having the exact same problem. When I
    click the New Rendez Vous button, the site address shows: https://teamupmovement.com/excite/members/extremeadmin/rendez-vous/#

    And there’s no popup for setting up the rendez vous.

    BuddyPress – 2.1.1
    Theme – Encounters Lite Child
    Multisite – Yes
    Javascript issues – None related to rendez vous
    Wordpress 4.1

    I did change the theme to Twenty Fourteen and the button started working. I am also able to setup all of the What, When, and Who settings, but I had some trouble saving the Rendez Vous.

    What is it about my theme that could be preventing the popup from displaying?

    I found the problem in my child theme’s buddypress folder. Once I removed the buddypress-functions.php folder that I had there, the popup started showing up.
